| Since the formulation and promulgation of Standards of Full-time CompulsoryEducation, school music education in our country has entered a new period ofdevelopment. In recent years great progress has been made in music education. All sectors ofsociety are deeply aware of the importance and necessity of music education, and thus musiceducation in primary and secondary schools across the country has received growingattention. And the commencement rate of middle school music course basically reachedthe standard requirements. Related facilities in schools are also becoming more and moremature. The overall quality of music teachers has increased year by year. And as a result, toaccelerate the development of music education in primary and secondary schools has becomethe important content of the present art education.However, we should also see at the same time that many problems still exist in middleschool music education after the success, for example, the superior guidance policyã€files andmeasures don’t work; deficiencies exist in school music curriculum management and studentsand music teacher evaluation mechanism; teachers, students and parents lack adequateawareness, etc.Mainly by using literature, questionnaire, interviews and other methods, in this paper theauthor selected3middle schools in Rushan city, Shandong Province as a sample for theinvestigation research of high school music education. In some schools investigations andinterviews were carried on among the leaders, music teachers, students of different grades andpersons concerned in the music department of Rushan Education Bureau. In order to find outthe problems, investigations were about the uses of music teaching equipments, trainingbuilding of music teachers, and the impact factors of the whole process of middle schoolmusic teaching in the city The questionnaires are divided into three kinds: schools, teachersand students, of which three for schools,10for teachers, and300copies of thequestionnaires were distributed to the students.The content of this paper consists of four parts. The first part is the subject of thebackground and significance, and the status analysis on the related domestic researches. Thesecond part is an investigation on the present situation of middle school music teachingin Rushan city. The third part is an analysis of the existing problems. The fourth part is about the measures and suggestions to promote the development of music education in primary andmiddle schools in towns of Rushan city. |
