As the special PE education and handicapped sports developed fast and achieve a fruitful result, the handicapped has an increasing heated need for the education, sport, and participation in the social activities as well as the pursuit of the value of life. Therefore, there is a splendid need for the talents who have the professional knowledge and capacities of the PE, training, rehabitalitation and management for the handicapped, in this background, researching current situation of special talents cultivation of the six universities with special PE will promote the further development of special PE and foster the sustainable development of special PE major in PE colleges and even promote the development of national handicapped service.Based on study methods of historical documents, investigation and statistics, the research will compare the aims, ranges, curriculums, teaching staff and the results of special PE undergraduate course in the six high schools, in the research, questionnaire are also used to get the comments from the seniors, juniors, and experts towards the recent situation of the education of the special PE, from which the features of special PE will be concluded and analyzed. Last comes the suggestionsThe research shows:1the aim and range of the talent cultivation can fully feature the specialty of special sports and the local advantages and need should be taken into consideration in specifying scientifically the type of talent cultivation.2. there exists gaps between the setup of curriculum and the aim and range of the cultivation, which lies in the weak systematicness of the special PE education knowledge, and the loose connection between theory and practice:great amount of theoretical knowledge though students have learned, the abilities to put the theories into practice is relevantly weak.3. The results of talent cultivation are not prospecting. The school students can’t identify with their major and the loss of special talent is highly possible. Therefore, the education of professional concept of school students should be strengthened and the commitment towards the relevant jobs should be enhanced.4. More funds should be put into the construction of educational conditions such as the payment of teaching staff, teaching materials, sports equipments and the construction of practice basement.
