The Research On Current Situation And Countermeasures Of Occupation Burnout Of Senior High School Teachers In Fuzhou

Individual practitioners feel bored and lack of interest in the work, producing a tired physical and mental state, which leads to the declines of their work ability and efficiency. This kind of mental state is the occupation burnout. Nowadays, some senior high school teachers are influenced by it. And with the increasingly fierce competition, teachers’ occupation pressure has been building up, and occupation burnout phenomenon more or less exits in them. Educators are influenced by occupation burnout, which will affect the quality of education. Therefore, how to avoid and alleviate the teachers’ occupation burnout has arisen as a practical concern.With the senior high school teachers in Fuzhou as the research objects, by questionnaire and interview, the writer analyzes the present situation and factors of teachers’ occupation burnout, and explores the mitigation measures. The research is divided into four parts. Firstly, it explains the research background and significance. Secondly, it discusses the concept, the characteristics of occupation burnout, and analyses the research status of teachers’ occupation burnout at home and abroad. Thirdly, using two self-designed questionnaires and interviews, it investigates the status of high school teachers’ occupation burnout in Fuzhou and finds out that teachers’ occupation burnout is influenced by social factors, occupation factors, organizational factors and personal factors. Fourthly, based on the status and causes, it puts forward tentative measures from three aspects of society, school and individual, hoping to relieve teachers’ occupation burnout.
