Along with the establishment and constantly improving of the civil service exam system in our country, the examination for civil service has become the most fiercely competed exam in China. The university student population has become the main force in the huge crowd of civil servants. University students apply for civil service has become a hot focus of the community. From the sociological perspective, with Coleman’s rational choice theory, this phenomenon tentatively explored is through empirical investigation. In this paper, the investigation of students apply for official acts which was based on the survey Fuzhou five universities, focusing on the use of rational choice theory Coleman behavioral analysis.
