Since Mainland and Taiwan have started a new round of curriculum reform, textbooks have become increasingly diversified. Many years of experience in compiling textbooks is good for each other. When cross-strait exchanges become increasingly today,it’s of great benefit to contemporary Chinese textbook reform,and even Chinese education reform in comparing the similarities and differences between mainland and Taiwan’s Chinese textbooks of middle school.In recent years there have been some research articles in journals on both sides of the textbooks,while on the other hand, the scope of the study is relatively narrow,and researchers are more concentrated in Chinese textbook versions of Kang xuan and Han lin, ignoring the other excellent versions that also can bring beneficial enlightenment and reference to the mainland textbook compilation in Taiwan; On the other hand, the researchers try to carry a macroscopic and integral study from the angle of textbook compilation, rather than microscopic parsing.If one can choose other Taiwan textbooks and study it with the microscopic Angle.It’s helpful for textbook reform in the future.This article introduces the basic information of the two sets of textbooks first; Secondly,according to the internal structure of the textbooks,it study reading system, assistant system,knowledge system and exercise system from reading section in detail. Finally, it discuss the writing section briefly. The whole article mainly adopts comparative analysis and data analysis, and details comparison of the similarities and differences between two sets of textbooks, It summarizes beneficial experience of both sides in compiling.At last it puts forward some thinkings about textbook compilation for the future.
