With the development of the information age, information technology education gets more and more attention and concern, the traditional class teaching system can’t meet the new curriculum reform about the students’ individuality and comprehensive development requir ments, with the help of information technology means to find suitable teaching mode for high school information technology to solve the existing problems has become the urgent problems of current education.Through research about the document of individualized instruction both at home and abroad, this paper analyses the research status of Moodle platform and its advantages in individualized instruction, puts forward the study on individualized instruction of high school information technology on the basic of Moodle. After the reading of individualized instruction,design high school information technology individualized instruction process based on Moodle platform, and from the teacher, student activities, use of Moodle flat, design intent and extended through the four aspects of teaching process, construct the model of the individualized instruction. After building Moodle learning platform and ready for teaching resources, the teaching model is applied to a five-week practice teaching through the survey method, action research method, and classroom observation, teaching contents, teaching design, individualized guidance and teaching are analyzed in detail every week. Finally, through comparative analysis the three-dimensinal target and students’ work before and after individualized instruction, proved that individualized instruction based on Moodle learning platform can effectively improve students expressed in found the problem, problem solving, communication, evaluation regulation ability, and can improve the students’ academic performance, and provide certain reference experience for information technology teachers and other researchers.
