The personnel file is not only an important content of organizing personnel work, but also an important foundation of fair selection and appointment.With the transition of the economic system, and constant deepening of the political and economic reform, the traditional personnel file management system which played an important role in China’s personnel management, economic development and social stability has been obviously lagged behind the development of the times. Social needs, policy support, technical push and research achievements at home and abroad provide an extremely favorable support platform for the development of the digital personnel files.The paper adopts ways such as literature survey, comprehensive analysis and case analysis to choose the N University that is miniatures of the big society as the research object, and begins with the various characteristics of personnel file, discusses the current mode of personnel file’s digital realization, and summarizes the problems of the current digital models in the presence of personnel file.The realizable digitized personnel file mode can be divided into three types according to the different type of personnel:(1) Mobile personnel file:for example, the sub-center model of Jiangsu Personnel Exchange Service Center in N University. This mode is focused on the post, and can be divided into three respects:importing basic digital personnel file from the established personnel file information database; digitalizing the paper file; building a personnel file information management system which is based on human resource management information platform. (2) Fixed personnel file:for example, the human resources model of N University. In this mode, the digital management can be divided into:importing basic digital personnel file from the established personnel file roster; digitalizing the paper file; building a personnel file information management system which is based on human resource management information platform.(3) Students’ files:for example, the self-management model of colleges and departments. Because personnel file allocated to the colleges and departments is not managed by staff that are professional in archival specialty, so it can not reflect the digitizing of personnel file. The colleges and departments lost the historical certificate and social values of students’ files after their graduation.Through research and analysis, facing the new situation, new environment, and new requirements of personnel digital files work, the paper carries out a comprehensive thinking about the personnel digital files work, and systematically put forward the basic principles, management style, technology model and talent link of the digital work.Finally, combining on the current research and development direction the paper puts forward its assumptions of innovation that mainly include:establishing the digitized personnel file management system, establishing a parent-subsidiary personnel file management system by networking, constantly developing and applying advanced techniques to effectively manage all types of personnel files in the digitalized process in the personnel files, and give full play to its potential social, economic efficiency, and promote personnel work effectively.
