In China, the research of activity teaching began in the early1990s, the activitycurriculum was added to curriculum plan of the nine-year compulsory education,some education workers began to study the teaching method and its’ practice. Aftermore than20years of practice, the important function of the activity teaching wasapproved by the education community. As the activity curriculum is set andimplemented in junior middle school, it highlights the purpose of guiding morallessons in junior middle school and promoting the development of the students’ideology and morality in the junior middle school, highlights the importance ofactivity teaching to the moral character. But the research about how to improve theteaching effect of thought moral activities is not very perfect, so the exploration to theimprovement of the teaching effect of the activity teaching in the moral lessons is stillvery necessary.This paper first analyzes the necessity and important role of the activity teachingin the moral lessons. It points out its necessity lies in the implementation of teachingactivities is the objective demand of training innovative talents, is the requirement toadapt to the teaching reform of moral lessons, is an effective way to stimulate theclassroom with full of vigor and vitality, is one of the important standards to evaluatethe teaching quality. Its important function shows not only in making the moralteachers’ quality comprehensively enhanced, it also improves the students’comprehensive ability significantly, so the students’ discrimination ability areobviously improved, their responsibility consciousness are ascended, their emotionaltargets are strengthened.The paper also expounds the present situation of the activity teaching in themoral lessons, sums up the problems affecting the teaching effect of activity teaching,the paper analyzes the causes of these problems. First is the weak teaching purposeand pertinence. The main reasons include teachers don’t set the right teachingtargets,teaching emphases and right teaching content. Secondly, the students’ participation is not active. The main reasons is that the moral teachers’ comprehensivequality do not match with the needs of the development of teaching activities,students’ cooperation and team consciousness are not strong, the design of the activitypays much attention to the number instead of the depth.Thirdly, there is no effectiveevaluation mechanism of the activity. Fourthly, the construction of software andhardware for the activity teaching is insufficient. The main reasons include that theactivity time is short, the place is a single, and the facilities are not enough.According to her own teaching practice, combining with her own understandingof the theory of activity teaching, the author puts forward improvement measures inthe following aspects to improve the teaching effect of moral lessons: first is tochange the education teaching idea. Teachers should change ideas in time, set up thecorrect concept regarding students as the subject and the concept of fully open view,and let the right concept go through the course of the activities of teaching, withcomprehensive open view to guide the process of activities teaching; Parents shouldcorrectly treat the children’s growth. The ideological guarantee of improving theteaching effect of activities teaching of the moral lessons is the transformation ofeducation teaching idea. The second is to improve teachers’ teaching skills. The morallessons teachers should enrich their knowledge frequently, and improve their teachingskills such as the innovation of the teaching methods, the use of activities formflexibly. The paper points out the important factors of teaching effect of the morallessons are to improve teachers’ teaching skills. Third one is to design activitiescarefully. In the process of activity design, the situation design should master theprinciple of "three-in-one construction", the content design should reflect the principleof "three approaches", and the process design should carry out the principle of "threecohesion". The paper points out the activity designs are the key to improve the effectof activity teaching of moral lessons. Four is to establish and improve the scientificand comprehensive evaluation mechanism. Schools should make the scientific,comprehensive and objective evaluation for teachers, so do the teachers for students.The paper points out the scientific comprehensive evaluation mechanism are thesystem guarantee to improve the teaching effect of the moral character. Five is to make use of teaching resources of the activities effectively. Based on make good useof existing resources, the field of teaching resources of the activities teaching shouldbe expanded, the resources of activity teaching are chosen according to the teachingobjectives and teaching content, the selection of resources gives priority to localresources, is close to students’ real life, at the same time, different types of activitiesresources should be integrated and utilized comprehensively. The paper points outthe effective utilization of teaching resources are the material insurance to improvethe teaching effect of the moral lessons. So the purpose of improving the teachingeffect of activity teaching of the moral lessons through these improvement measurescan be finished.
