As an ancient ideogram, Chinese characters are not only the most importantcommunication tool of the Han ethnic group, but also the carrier and the important part ofChinese national culture. The literacy teaching is the cornerstone of primary schooleducation. How to develop the advantages of Chinese characters? How to educate thestudents to read scientifically? How to use Chinese characters? These are problemswhich many educators are exploring at the same time. The optimization research ofChinese literacy teaching in primary schools is based on the cultural view. It takes thecultural view as the breakthrough point. It takes the rich cultural connotation of Chinesecharacters as the foundation. It implants Chinese characters culture in the literacyteaching. It enables the students to understand the endless mysteries hidden in the Chinesecharacters’ sounds, shapes and meanings by touching the pulse of Chinese civilization. Italso enables the students to master the Chinese caracters easily, to improve the ability ofliteracy and the culture attainment and to edify the sentiment.Chapter1is the introduction part, which introduces the significance and backgroundof the research, the current status of the research at home and abroad, the methods of theresearch.Chapter2is about the significance pursuit of the Chinese literacy teaching which isbased on cultural view in primary schools. It analyzes the relationship between theculture and the cultural view and the cultural implication of Chinese characters. On thebasis of that, it reveals the internal relations between Chinese characters and the culture.Chapter3is about the status of literacy teaching based on the cultural view in primaryschools. Through the questionnaire methods, understand the status of important linkswhich includes the commonly used literacy teaching methods, the orders of literacy and theways of literacy. Through the observation and interview, reflect the commonly usedteaching methods, the improvement suggestions and the confusion.Chapter4is about the reality requirements for the literacy teaching which is based onthe cultural view in primary schools. It analyzes the main manifestations and causes of the culture lack in the literacy teaching in primary schools. It investigates the mainfactors that affect the literacy teaching from Chinese characters, curriculum requirementsand the children’s psychological development. It analyzes the feasibility to fully dig thecultural implication in the literacy teaching.Chapter5is about optimizing the principles and strategies of the literacy teachingwhich is based on the cultural view in primary schools. It puts forward the teachingprinciples, such as the stage principle, the interest principle and the opening principle. Itinvestigates how to adopt a variety of effective teaching strategies to develop and takeadvantage of the curriculum resources of Chinese character culture on the basis of the lawof the children’s psychological development.Chapter6is about the external guarantee to optimize the literacy teaching. It is mainlyabout how to provide the external guarantee for improving the efficiency of literacy fromthe evaluation, the textbook compilation and the teacher training.
