Class is not only the basic unit of the school, but also the place of teaching and moraleducation for teachers and head teachers. As a management method, management byobjectives is used in class construction by head teachers.It follows thegoal and tries to bepeople-oriented. Besides, the effectiveness is the standard of its assessment.However,during the process of operation, teachers will still encounter some problemswhich need to be studied and resolved.In this study, the Chinese Chess characteristic class in Suzhou Caixiang Middle is theobject. I studied the class mainly by case study and action research. Using other classes inthe same school as a reference, I did the comparison about the courses learning, theconstruction of the culture of the class, behaviors of students and the talents showed by thestudents in Art Festival. I analyzedthe results of the comparison and try to find out a betterway to enhancemanagement. By the three-year tracking study of the development of theclass and the growth of students, I made timely assessment, feedback andadjustments.Moreover, I discovered some of the problems with the class construction andfound the solution. Ultimately,I established a more mature management system.The results shows that classes based on the MBO are good ones, which theenvironment for both growth and study is outstanding. Students made great progress inabilities of dealing with problems, behaviors andstudy. The result in the high schoolentrance examination is far exceeded expectations. This management mode is accepted byschools, students and parents.
