In recent years, with the number of rural migrant workers continues to increase, thenumber of rural left-behind children also increased. Calculated according to the fifthcensus data, the current national left-behind children number is about23000000, amongthem six years old and above accounted for more than65%of school-age left-behindchildren. In all the left-behind children, rural left-behind children accounted for about86%, the number reached about19800000people. Society of left-behind children’sattention, the most directly and all sorts of bad academic, moral, personal safetyproblems such as children left behind due to. Lack of family education of left-behindchildren in rural area gradually surfaced, a series of increasingly and the prominentindividual, family and social problems, become the focus of social attention. Payattention to the training of left-behind children cultural competitiveness, is the children’sown development needs, but also social justice.How to change the status quo of rural left-behind children family education? How tomake rural left-behind children family education better? How to use the method of socialwork professional effective intervention? In front of us is a research topic. In this paper,the author will from the family social work perspective, the analysis of the mainproblems of the main types of family education of children left behind in rural China andits existence, for rural left-behind children lack of family education may have adverseconsequences for individuals and society, summarizes some countermeasures.
