In modern times, it is of great importance to reform the talent-training methods andimprove the quality of higher education, since it is directly related to the country’seconomic development and social progress. As a new educational mode,"MOOC" hasplayed an important role in expanding the scale of higher education, improving thequality, innovating the personnel-training philosophy, realizing diversified andindividualized education.2012is the first year of "MOOC".The countries around theworld are involved in the "MOOC" wave and it has got huge development in a shorttime."MOOC" is an acronym that stands for “Massive Open Online Courses”.Freeaccess to cutting-edge curriculums of famous universities in the world, open to studentsall over the world with no fees,"MOOC" reduces the cost of higher education.It breaksthe existing borders and barriers that lie in colleges and universities,so that everyone canaccept university-level education.And the trend of open education has becomeincreasingly obvious.It is able to maintain educational equity, promote educationalreform, enhance social services as well as being conducive to lifelongeducation.Therefore,The development of higher education in our country must takegood advantage of it.Currently, Chinese "MOOC" has reached certain scale and made someachievements,However,it is still facing great challenges: funding, policy, quality, facilityand credit.Based on the the relevant research both at home and abroad, combining thepresent situation of our “MOOC”,this article put forward the corresponding solving measures.First, we should get enough financial support, to expand the funding sourceand attract the government, schools and enterprises to build together. Second, we shouldconsummate the development of policies, including coordination, management,evaluation, and copyright and so on. Third,to improve the quality of “MOOC”,mainlyfrom strengthening the quality of the curriculums,conducting the teacher training andthe students guidance. Fourth,enhance the infrastructure, including the networkinfrastructure, personnel training and Chinese platforms construcion.Last, creditcertification is the inevitable development of "MOOC", we must strengthen the relatedtechnology theory and policy research.I hope the measures above could help to solve theproblems and provide a reference for our China’s "MOOC" healthy development.
