According to the evaluation results to put forward the research hypothesizes, and correlation analysis is used to verify the correctness of the hypothesis, the results show that there are positive correlations among science and technology innovation ability, science and technology innovation input ability, science and technology innovation output ability and science and technology innovation performance of research universities. In order to ensure to obtain the comprehensive and objective studies, further analyzing the policy and system, and explore the promotion of the all kinds of policies and systems for science and technology innovation ability of research universities.Finally, the study takes Dalian University of Technology as a case, and uses the SWOT analysis to analyze strengths, weaknesses, opportunities, threats of science and technology innovation ability, and build the SWOT matrix of science and technology innovation ability of Dalian University of Technology.
