With the deepening of China’s education, the development of higher education, makingthe college enrollment process continues to accelerate, starting in1999, the nationalcollege entrance1.6million in2014to the National General Colleges Admissions schedule6.98million, including undergraduate3.63million,3.35million people in vocationalcollege. College Physical Education has thus faced with both opportunities and challenges,one physical education major has been developing rapidly, growing scale; on the otherhand, the quality of physical education professionals too optimistic, the relative decline inthe quality of students, making physical education Majors employment difficulties. HigherPhysical Education in development today, the College Sports Education recruited by manystudents to participate in physical training time is short, relatively poor physical fitness.Moreover, the teaching of Physical Education and other teaching different courses inaddition to learn theoretical knowledge, but also technical expertise to master even a fewdoors, and professional and technical specifications must be skilled. As we all know,professional and technical mastery and proficiency, taught by the classroom several timesis far from reach. After-school sports training is an extension of classroom teaching,development, it can promote digestion of classroom knowledge, but also facilitating theacquisition of technology and innovation, and to achieve "Practice makes perfect."Therefore, the physical education majors should need to use their spare time, according totheir needs, conduct after-school sports training, to timely supplement classroom teaching,improve the technical skills to further improve the quality of teaching, as well as to reachthe body of Physical. Therefore, study of the students majoring in physical educationcurrent situation of extracurricular physical training, to improve their employment abilityand improve the teaching quality of physical education in universities two-way speakingare important is also very necessary.In this paper, the literature method, questionnaire survey method, interview method,on-the-spot investigation method and other research methods to the status of BeijingUniversity sports education professional students after-school sports training for thesystematic investigation and study. In physical education professional school students inBeijing3colleges (Beijing Sport University, Capital Institute of physical education,Beijing Normal University), for each grade boys and girls in the randomly selected10, atotal of240students majoring in physical education, after-school sports training as theresearch object, the basic situation of their after-school sports training of investigation andanalysis, the results of the survey show that:1Physical Education96.2%of students believe that it is necessary to conductafter-school sports training, generally believe that their own physical fitness, professionaland technical skills of great help.2Motivation to participate in after-school physical education majors than the merephysical training,52.0%of students in order to enhance health and improve theirprofessional skills. 3Physical Education Majors enter university after fitness Most people do not get greatlyimproved,54.6%of students as well as the decline in the proportion of physical declineamong boys than girls more than7%.4Sports education professional students after school sports training time and still needto improve the intensity, only38.7%students training lasts more than an hour, most of thestudents training twice a week and the following, each training time less than one hour.5Sports education professional students participate in extracurricular sports trainingtarget,60%students hope to be able to develop in an all-round way and more skilled,40%students just follow interest development.6Beijing university sports equipment is relatively good, has the ability to providestudents with good material conditions after school sports training, but for sports under thepressure of a large population, is in short supply.7Sports education professional students participate in extracurricular sports training isthe main reason of the students’ physical condition and interests, and space equipment is amajor objective cause.In this paper, the Beijing university sports education professional students after schoolsports training present situation has carried on the investigation and analysis, and putsforward some Suggestions, to improve the teaching effect of university sports educationprofessional, improve the employment ability of physical education major students, thepurpose of conveying more sports qualified personnel for the society.
