That is, high proactive personality weakens the association between social support and career decision-making self-efficacy.(6) Social capital is found to play a two-way moderating role on the relationship between career decision-making self-efficacy and job search behavior, career decision-making self-efficacy and job search behavior are negatively correlated when social capital is high while they are positively correlated when social capital is low. These results not only enrich the theory of job search behavior research, but also provide a good theoretical perspective for the subsequent research.
