The study of the cause of the poor student and transformation measures, most people prefer to theoretical research, not using survey research. Therefore, this study choose W high school as an example to study the present situation of mathematics poor student in junior middle school and study what measures we should take to change it.Then further study is designed to improve poor student mathematics learning ability, learning, lifelong learning, to lay the foundation for it. Looking forward to this study to the transformation of the poor student has the certain reference value.In this paper, research methods are mainly literature study method, questionnaire method and case method. Through the literature research, strict definition of poor student, cause of the poor student and transformation measures, lay a theoretical foundation for this study. Through the questionnaire and investigation about the present situation of W middle school mathematical poor student, and analyzed the cause of the poor student transformation.The study found that:(1) mathematics "poor student" has the less willpower, is not interested in mathematics, no good study habits, and there was a barrier between the math teacher common characteristics;(2) the mathematics teachers’ teaching strategies plays an vital role in the formation of the poor student, this is also the key to how to change the poor student. This article from the perspective of teachers is proposed for the transformation of students with learning disabilities:(1) to improve poor student’s mathematics study interest.(2) to enhance the confidence for learning difficulty in mathematics study.(3) improve teachers’own quality demands.(4) to improve the classroom teaching strategiesFinally, the "big two small two"(I see W two school as a "big two", the research class as "small two", in the face of the school teachers’ management system adapted to teaching strategy and selection, applied to students in the class, the teaching strategy is called "big two small two" inside.) The teaching measures of case study, compared with the previous transformation measures effect.
