In most developed and developing countries, it has become fashionable to viewentrepreneurship and entrepreneurship education as the panacea for stagnating ordeclining economic activity. For similar reasons, in the economies in transition,entrepreneurial education has become a crucial component of the new curriculum onoffer in elite business schools. China has an opportunity to learn from experiences inthe United States, Canada and other countries around the world and to set upappropriate models, rather than importing models that might not apply to the Chinesecontext. When assessing entrepreneurship education practices around the world, it isimportant to understand not only what works but also why. It is not simply a matter ofbuilding the infrastructure. The programs must be market-driven and adapted to thelocal ecosystem. This article in the evaluation of higher education institutions inuniversity entrepreneurship education status and development in China and comparedwith Canada. After all the author outlines few development suggestions to universitiesand the government.The preface of this article put forward the research background and thesignificance of the topic, which is entrepreneurship education. Entrepreneurshipeducation is an effective process to improve the innovation ability. The ability ofinnovation is the key to improve the comprehensive of a national. Research onentrepreneurship education is the future field of education also the attention of thedirection of graduating students.The first part of this paper introduces the concept of entrepreneurship and theentrepreneurship education, lists the present representative theory of concept ofentrepreneurship research worldwide and expounds the main content ofentrepreneurship education and the practical significance. The second part is asummary of the development of entrepreneurship education in addition to the currentdevelopment situation.The emphasis of this paper is in the third part. The multi dimensions comparison of entrepreneurship education in colleges and universities between China and Canada.The content of the comparison including the teaching methods; the establish ofprofessor team and the indemnitors in the society. In the process of comparison theauthor found that the Canadian entrepreneurship education has its advanced place inthe years of development and at the same time as the development problems can notbe ignored. Chinese entrepreneurship education developed not a long time, but thedevelopment has made some achievements though has a lot progress to make.Therefor the paper comes to its fourth part, which is the problem perspective ofentrepreneurship education in colleges and universities of both countries. At last, theauthor analyzed the future development trend of both countries and gavecorresponding suggestions.
