Objective: To investigate the association study PRKAG3 gene polymorphism and exercise capacity in order to provide for the athlete selection gene targets. Research Contents:StudyⅠ: PRKAG3 gene polymorphism association study group athletes and ordinary people in the group.Subjects: A total of 215 objects in this study were divided into two groups: group of Jiangxi elite athletes and the general population control group. Where the athlete group(case group) 96 elite athletes(State Sports General Administration and a Master Grade registration). The control group(control group) 119 ordinary students, and athletes origin, ethnicity, gender, age-matched healthy without exercise experience. All subjects gave informed consent.Methods: Analysis PRKAG3 rs6436094 locus by case-control, Pro71 Ala distribution of single nucleotide polymorphisms in the athlete group and the control group.Results: Pro71 Ala polymorphism in the women’s anaerobic athletes CC genotype frequency distributions were significantly higher, with the athletes in the men’s C allele frequency was significantly higher in the distribution.Study II: Association between gene polymorphism and athletic ability PRKAG3 related indicatorsSubjects: 38 Chinese Han aerobic Athletes(male 24, female 14) were registered in the State Sports General Administration of more than one athlete from each rowing, canoeing aerobic exercise program, all subjects informed consent.Methods: The cross-sectional association studies, observation PRKAG3 locus rs6436094, Pro71 Ala association studies of single nucleotide polymorphisms associated with the Athletic Performance Indicators.Results: ① in body composition related indicators, PRKAG3 gene rs6436094 polymorphism loci in aerobic female athletes, the percentage of fat in different genotypes showed very significant differences, which carry(AA + AG) type of body composition were related indicators GG higher than the wild type. ② in maximal oxygen uptake, ventilatory anaerobic threshold related indicators, PRKAG3 gene rs6436094 polymorphism in female athletes maximal oxygen uptake relative value between different genotypes have significantly different trend, with the GG genotype were higher than that with the A-type person. ③Significantly higher than in the frequency domain HRV-related indicators, the male athlete Pro71 Ala sites in heart rate variability(HRV) among different genotypes quiet state of total power(TP) showed a statistically significant difference, namely those with the CC genotype carrying(CG + GG) type person.Conclusions: PRKAG3 gene locus rs6436094 GG genotype were carrying and Pro71 Ala sites carrying the CC genotype may be able to use genetic markers as an athlete selection, but the need to increase the sample size is further argued.
