The theme of this thesis is related to the “hot words” in the last two years, the the flipped classroom. Taking practice of flipped classroom in China as the breakthrough point, and the teaching reform in Yifeng middle school as the example, the practical problems of flipped classroom based on traditional teaching and learning resources in the medium developed area like Jiangxi provinces are explored, through the literature research method, questionnaire and classroom observation.Firstly, the related concepts are defined in the thesis. The research status about the flipped classroom from home and abroad are summarized. The theoretical basis of the flip classroom practice research pointed out. Then the necessity of flipped classroom localization is discussed.Secondly, there is a statistic analysis to the questionnaires of Yifeng middle school’s flipped classroom practice. The classroom interactions between teachers and students from video are analyzed as well.The research showed that: students in Yifeng middle school can quickly adapt to the new teaching methods. Students participate the classroom activities actively both in pre-class and cooperative learning periods. In class, the interactions between teachers and students are frequent and their interactive forms are various. Teachers are good at using tips and positive evaluation to inspire and motivate students. Students also can put forward questions that they can’t understand actively in class. But, there are also many problems. However, there are some shortcomings in practical teaching. Students are passive in classroom. The coordination between the members is poor when they participate in cooperative learning. The effectiveness of cooperative learning is not well. The interaction in the classroom is mainly based on interaction between the teacher and the whole class. The interaction between the teacher and individual student or groups is less.Finally, based on the analysis in Yifeng middle school practice, the flipped classroom model based on teaching resources is designed. Seven chapters are included in this thesis.Chapter One: Introduction. Based on the research background, research content, questions, methods and framework, significance of this study are put forward in this chapter.Chapter Two: Research Foundation. Starting from the research point of view, flipped classroom concepts, localization, localization of flipped classroom are defined. Reviewing literatures about the flipping classroom, the current research status of flipping classroom home and abroad are combed and analyzed. And the constructivist learning theory and learning Pyramid theory are considered as the theoretical basis of this study.Chapter Three: The necessity of Flipped Classroom localization. From the perspective of practice, the essence of the flipped classroom is elaborated. Flipped classroom and traditional classroom are compared from three aspects of teaching process, the role of teacher and students and the value orientation. The necessity of the practice of the flipped classroom localization is stated, with the differences of primary and secondly education between China and American, as well as the current status of Chinese primary and secondly education informatization.Chapter Four:Study on flipped classroom practice in Yifeng Middle School. The basic situation and the teaching reform implement of Yifeng middle school are introduced in this chapter. Based on the general process of flipped classroom localization in Yifeng middle school, a math lesson is taken as the example.The collected questionnaire data and the interactions between teachers and students in the classroom video are analyzed, including the general situation of the interactions between students and teachers, the interactive case and types of students’ answers. Some problems and related measures for improving Yifeng middle school flipped classroom practice are put forward.Chapter Five: The Construction of the localization of flipped classroom model. Based on the general process of flipped classroom in Yifeng middle school, and absorbing problems and shortcomings of flipped classroom in Yifeng middle school, the flipped classroom model which is based on traditional teaching resources is constructed.Chapter six: Conclusion and Insufficient and Expectation. The research results are summarized in this chapter. The shortcomings and the expectations for the future researches are presented.
