Chinese classics, as the roots of Chinese culture and the spirit of the nation, carry the essence of fine Chinese heritage. In the recent years, its educational value has been widely recognized among people. With the promotion of the activities, many schools around the country have joined in this activity of reading Chinese classics. However, since the short implementation time on this campaign, problems are constantly revealed as the practice keeps developing in depth. In this paper, the teaching-reading-Chinese-classics activities in five Wanning City junior schools will be taken as examples, through which the five schools are to be under observation, to find out problems and put forward suggestions for improvement,expecting to provide some pragmatic experiences and references for Chinese classics reading activities.This paper is divided into four chapters. Introduction section introduces the origin of the topic, significance, most importantly, research methods and outlines related to literature review. The paper then limns concept of Chinese classics reading, noting the implementation of this course are of great value in the moral, intellectual, aesthetic and other aspects. After researching on Chinese classics reading Activities in junior schools of Wanning City,relevant countermeasures will be brought out to address these issues of biased understanding of the curriculum, organization and implementation irregularities, inflexible teaching methods,circumscribed reading materials,as well as less-systematical evaluation system.Corresponding measures are as follow: first, we should follow the implementation principle of the curriculum; second, we ought to create a favorable environment for reading atmosphere on the basis of campus, family, community; Third, strengthen curriculum integration, explore network resources and develop school- based curriculum programs to infuse reading diversity:Finally,all-round and multi-angles solution strategies are put forward in the light of curriculum knowledge, skills training, time, plan formulation, ways of reciting, evaluation.
