Women university occupies a special position, in higher education in Japan. Women universities play a significant role in the development of education in Japan, and its contribution to Japan’s educational history, even the nearly modernization of the whole country cannot be ignored.These women universities try to meet the needs of the development of society through continuous reform and innovation, and becoming one of the important forces in Japan’s universities. Women university has experienced a long process of historical development, from the build up to now, in this process its own unique characteristics was gradually formed whose effect on the development of women’s high education is immeasurable, moreover it has established a mature and perfect teaching system and formed its own style in school-running mode, talent training, etc.Setting from the perspective of social gender theory, this paper uses a variety of research methods, combines with specific cases, regards curriculum provision as the re search object, with the method of case analysis to investigates the present situation o-f the feminine curriculum provision in Japan’s women university. After the analysis an d research, this paper summarizes the characteristics and problems of feminine curricul um provision in Japan’s women university. The experience of the feminine curriculum provision in Japan’s women university has been tested in the process of the longterm development of women university which is worth learning from.The main text of this paper is divided into six parts. In the first part, this paper defines the concepts of women’s university, feminine curriculum, curricuum provision and so on.In the second part, this paper discusses the positive significance of Japan women university from the perspectives of women growth and gender theory, and also its expounds the theoretical basis of feminine curriculum.In the third part, this paper carries on the summary about women university and feminine curriculum provision in Japan. In the fourth part, this thesis combined with the concrete case, from the curriculum target, curriculum structure, curriculum content and curriculum evaluation in Japan women’s university feminine curriculum present situation analysis. In the fourth part, combining with specific cases, this paper analyses the present situation of feminine curriculum provision of Japan’s women university from the perspective of curriculum target, curriculum structure, curriculum content and curriculum evaluation, etc. In the fifth part, based on the above chapters, this part summarizes the problems in feminine curriculum provision and gives some relevant suggestion. The sixth part makes a conclusion about the whole thesis.Compared with other courses, feminine curriculum provision is too little and is on the edge position which does not make full use of the role it played in feminine curriculum. However, it does have some characteristics:a clear objective; the feminine curriculum is an interdisciplinary course that focuses on humanities and social sciences; supported by femaleology study center in women university, it gradually formed a curriculum system, etc. At the some time, the characteristics presented in women curriculum also reflect its pr oblems in feminine curriculum provision:the clear training target of its curriculum pro vision is too close to the market; feminine curriculum provision is more dispersed, it still needs to be further perfected; and the feminine curriculum proportion is lower, th e status of theor, etic curriculum needs to be enhanced, etc.
