October2010, based on accreditation and recommendation from the Ministry of Education,the polit of deepening curriculum reform in Zhejiang Province, was formally included in the national education system.In the fall of2012,the program about the deepening curriculum reform was fully implemented in25experimental high schools. The original curriculum structure is not rational,the students are short of independent learning time, school characteristics can not develop,so the curriculum document states that all schools should reduce the required curriculum which is unified setted and attended in,should increase the selective curriculum which is suit for students’ development and they can choose by themselves.Meanwhile, the system of selective curriculum is divided into four sectors, including knowledge-extension sector,vocational-technology sector, interest-specialty sector and society-practice sector,the structure of chemistry elective curriculum also changed.Therefore, the good understanding and the adequate solution of the problems in the construction and development of chemistry selective curriculum will take a active effect of the develop ment about the chemistry deepening curriculum reform.Based on the above background, focusing on a variety of factors in the implementation of chemistry selective curriculum for Zhejiang senior high schools,the investigation about the provision and teaching situation of chemistry selective curriculum in senior high school carried out.And then,the scientific evaluation for overall performance of deepening reform about chemistry selective curriculum can be carried out on the basis of this. After collecting some research about the implemention of curriculum, some doucuments about the curriculum deepening reform and some basic situation of the experimental high schools,the research goal is setted, the research method is dertermined.The thesis selects the knowledge-extension sector which includes four curses:the expansive course of required content,the junior course of college,the course of describing the latest achievements in academic and the course of applying discipline knowledge to carry on the investigation about the provision and teaching situation of chemistry selective curriculum.For the sake of universality,representativeness and creditability,we take all account of the respondents’ structure,schools’ property as well as the regional differences of Zhejiang economy and social development,so we choose the chemistry teachers of14schools who are full of representative. The investigation is carried out through questionaries from six aspects,i.e the selective curriculum provision,the usage of teaching materials,teaching situation, the teachers’ attitude towards the chemistry selective curriculum after he deepening curriculum reform,development and utilization of curriculum resources, curriculum management and appraisal system.The result is expressed as percentage which is processed and analyzed by SPSS.Apart from that,the research also selects100students from the Attached Middle School of Zhejiang Normal University to investigate the students’ attitude and learning situation of the chemistry selective curriculum. Based on investigation result,a proper advice is provided for schools to set up chemistry selective curriculum and for teachers to teach in real situation.It also offers some basic date to push the provincial chemistry deepening curriculum reform and promote the full implementation of chemistry selective curriculum.
