This paper makes research on the part of high school in Wenzhou area, From school to understand the situation of elective courses in the extent of implementation、course management、evaluation method、effect of elective course of students learning、parents concerned about the level of elective course、School hardware equipment、the situation of teacher’s course training、the situation of teachers course development and the implementation situation of elective courses. In order to investigate the results as the basis, attempts to explore how to better develop the elective course.In this study, some high schools in Wenzhou area of Zhejiang Province as an example. By the questionnaire, internet survey and interview as research method.A detailed understanding of the current situation of high school physics elective courses, according to the investigation results, To meet the physical elective courses in the process of the problem, put forward the improvementsuggestions.This study is divided into six parts:Part 1:Introduction. This paper mainly introduced the research background,methodology, meaning and study of physical elective course.Part 2: The concept definition of elective courses.
