Tacit Knowledge, generally present in people’s practicing work, is the not encoded and formatted kind of knowledge which is hard to discern and express. It has become a frontier profession in recently educative and teaching research to study the tacit knowledge, which aims at the content and properties of the teachers’ tacit knowledge and intends to find ways to make it explicit. As with history teachers in secondary school, they possess plentiful tacit knowledge. As with the occupational properties of being a history teacher, tacit knowledge exists in ideal education and teaching experience. With some methods of transforming the tacit knowledge into explicit in secondary history education, it could effectively increase the teachers’ abilities, promote the development of the profession, materialize the humane value of history education in junior and senior middle school as well as enhance the historical and ethical quality in educated people.Analyze the contemporary mode of education, comb and summarize the achievements and deficiency in researching teachers’ tacit knowledge. Lay a foundation for this treatise by examining the concept expansion of tacit knowledge in Philosophy, Psychology and Knowledge Management Science, exhibiting the long term process and significance in tacit knowledge. Elaborate the secondary history teachers’ tacit knowledge structure with analysis of the content and properties of their tacit knowledge and the characters of the history teachers group; you can find the tacit knowledge of the history of the history teachers is ia the teachers’ professional knowledge, the course teaching and the personal feeling and attitudes, verify the existence and importance of the tacit knowledge of the history teachers in middle school and high school by exemplifying the structure in the educating process, the communication between the teachers and students and the assessment of teaching and students during the class.Conclude the strategy of facilitating the tacit knowledge changing into explicit one by assessing the probability of the conversion. The transition by individuals, groups and internet not only encourages the teachers’ knowledge innovation and construction of the knowledge system, to promoto teachers’ professional development but also accelerates the students obtaining advanced professional information. and generalize the consequences of the conversion and practice in students’ historic view, emotion, altitude and mentality, adhering to the people-oriented educational idea.
