The richness of rivers and waters make this region a wonderful place for drifting project, though it started late, it is developing with momentum.By the methods of literature, observation, survey, mathematics, logics and other methods, based on researches on Guan river drifting and military drifting in Xixia, Bao Tianman canyon drifting in Neixiang and Tian river surfing drifting in Nanzhao, this paper fully studies Nanyang drifting projects development situations with following conclusions:First, analyze Nanyang drifting situation from the perspectives of sports tourism development, environment, facilities, market status, management, benefits, etc. Nanyang drifting project originated from 1999, mainly has Guan river drifting and military drifting in Xixia, Bao Tianman canyon drifting in Neixiang and Tian river surfing drifting in Nanzhao, etc. Suitable rivers, hydrology, climate and ecological environment lay a solid foundation for Nanyang drifting project, its economy, transportation and culture give it more advantages, but the competition with other places is very fierce.Second, basic facilities are fulfilled in the four drifting places that this paper studies, with over five hundred thousand annual total reception, visitors come from Nanyang and surrounding provinces and cities, with a balanced sex ratio, and the main visitors are under the age of 40 with diverse education backgrounds and professionals. The potential customers are very obvious to be seen, one-day drifting plan by choosing a drifting sit by suggestions from friends and relatives, travel agencies and others. As a whole, Nanyang drifting has prosperous future by the satisfactory basic security facilities and service quality, owing high overall evaluation from the visitors.Third, Nanyang drifting project management mainly includes the establishment of reasonable setting, clear personnel and security management.
