| In this article, from the "student-centered" education ideas, empirical study was carried out on the students studying experience in eight universities in Hunan province. Full text includes six chapters. Through the literature review, the first chapter introduces and analyses the theory of foreign scholars on the influence of university education on students’ development, such as A.Astin’s theory of "Student Involvement", A. Chickering’s "Good Practices in Undergraduate Education", C.Pace’s "Effort Quality",E.Pascarella’s "General Model for Assessing Change", G.Kuh’s" Student Engagement", intending to establish the relationship between university education and students’ development and introduce "Students" groups that cannot be ignored into the higher education quality evaluation system through the combing and analysis on a large number of theoretical research and empirical research results at home and abroad. The second chapter briefly summarizes the research idea, the research object, the research assumptions, the research methods, the research tools of this study, etc. Through the analysis of mathematical statistics, the third chapter describes the background information of the college students in Hunan province, campus activities, self-evaluation of personal development and evaluation of the school environment, etc., and reflects some characteristics of the college students studying experience in Hunan province, such as students attaching great importance to the classroom learning and contempt for extracurricular learning; low participation in extracurricular activities; inadequate interaction of teachers and students and so on. The fourth chapter respectively analyzes the students’ personal factors’ influence, family background’s influence, and campus environment’ influence on college students’ own development, and founds that family background, campus environment and personal factors have positive influence of different level on students’ personal development after university education, and the influence from big to small in turn is students’ personal involvement in campus activities, campus environment, family background, and shows the process of university education affect students’ personal development. In the fifth chapter, the author summarizes this study, and puts forward several suggestions to improve the education quality in university and college students of Hunan province:(1) take the student as the center, and pay close attention to the development of the students’ quality.(2) deepen teaching reform, and pay attention to students’ learning autonomy and enthusiasm;(3) attach great importance to the peer group role, and promote the healthy development of the students;(4) pay attention to the establishment of good communication platform between teachers and students;(5) lay emphasis on building supportive campus environment. |
