With the advancement of the era of knowledge economy andThe new curriculum reform of elementary education, it is an importantproblem in the basic education that developing the students’ ability oflife-long learning and promoting the development of its comprehensive,independent and having a personality. As a special form of classroomteaching, open class plays an important role in spreading the new curriculumconcept and exploring new teaching method. It can promote the level ofteaching and enhance teachers’ professional development independently, thusfundamentally promote the development of students’ personality. But due tothe various complicated factors, the public class teaching development withChinese characteristics has attracted numerous reproach, some teacherseven deny the value of a public class and have a great resistance. Therefore,in the background of the new curriculum reform, it is a worthy researchdirection that how to let public course teaching keep effective.Take E middle school in H city as an example, this article is mainlyon examining the current situation of open class managementcomprehensively, using literatures, interviews, questionnaire investigation, andcase analysis. There is a generalization and inefficient management questionin E middle school teaching management. According to its specificmanifestation, there are four aspects factors of restricting the public classteaching management, including the public class itself, the macro backgroundof new curriculum reform, the school administrators and teachers’ personalfactor. Based on the results of the analysis, this paper have put forward therelevant countermeasures and suggestions. For instance, strengthening theconstruction of the organizational culture, pay attention to the culture of teaching and researching;helping teachers to set up correct concept of publicclass, in order to play the part of good teacher role; exploding "The expert"worship of authority and shaping teachers’ personality psychologicalcharacteristics; taking full use of the educational research group todetermine the theme of the public class teaching content; the correctselection of public class teaching method using reasonable multimediatechnology; outstanding attention to student learning behavior changes inmanagement; formulating rational and effective public class evaluationstandard;strengthening the reflection of teaching management. So that thepublic class teaching management can be more effectively going on, thenshow the value of the public class teaching should have.
