The nation’s development depends on the progress of education, which needs continuous reformation and innovation. Hence the new fundamental education reformation is being enforced currently. As a key course in this reformation, the Ideological and Political course in high School has been the research topic of a number of politics teachers. Meanwhile, with the development of the society, the increasing art students in high school have drawn much attention. Therefore, it is theoretically and practically significant to study the effective teaching strategies of Ideological and Political based on the characteristics of art students in high school.The thesis generalizes the main content in introduction part, illustrating the current status of domestic and international research and the purpose, significance and method of this thesis. Secondly, this thesis comments on key concepts and relevant theories, making it clear about the standards and major characteristics of this research. Moreover, this thesis selects the teachers and students of Nanchang No. 18 High School as the research objects, studying and analyzing the situation of efficient teaching, focusing on analyzing the reasons of problems arising based on curriculum content, politics teacher, and art students. Last but not least, the thesis puts forward the concrete strategy and method of efficiency teaching of Ideological and Political in high School—optimizing class design, cultivating teachers’ teaching quality, and developing art students’ learning quality.Currently there still exist low-efficient, or even non-efficient problems in the actual teaching of art students’ Ideological and Political in High School. This thesis analyzes the problems and the reasons why these problems arise based on the reality, and then explores the strategy and methods that can be used in actual efficient teaching, hoping to benefit for politics teachers’ teaching work.
