The Study On The Competency Model’s Construction And Verification Of College Chairman Of The Student Union

This study applies management, psychology and organizational behavior and Takes College chairmans of the student union of 4 universities in Dalian for subjects. This study combe theory with practice, and sdudy the competency model for college chairman of the student union.The research is on the basis of previous achievements. This study applies job analysis, questionnaire and BEI. After the analysis of the obtained data, this study compiles the formal competency self-evaluation questionnaire of college chairmans of the student union, completes the model validation.The conclusions are as follows:(1)The competency model for college chairman of the student union(CMCCSU) is multi-dimensional. It includes 5 factors: cmmunication, achievement motivation, personal characteristics, team-work and leadership.(2) The self-evaluation questionnaire has great reliability and validity.(3)The competency model for college chairman of the student union has significant differences of gender, different grades and departments. It has no significant gender differences of heonly-child and the non-only-child.
