Physical education curriculum standard proposes that it is better to study physics from the life, and prepare for the society from physics. It is important to develop the students’ interest in exploration and scientific practice ability. It is one of the important approaches on basis of physical education curriculum practice concept by using the equipment of common physics experimental resources. It is helpful to develop low-cost experiment in the application of teaching activities, and to improve the students’ practical ability and innovative consciousness. In this thesis, according to Standard of Physics Education, the research is carried out on low-cost physics experiment from two aspects of development and utilization.The main work includes five aspects: Firstly, the literature research on low-cost physics experiment are summarized; Secondly, the concept of low-cost physical experiment and the related theories is introduced; Thirdly, according to low-cost physical experimental development requirements, the development and use of low-cost experimental resources are explored from the aspects of life, actual production, modern technology, art, the history of famous experiments;Fourthly, according to the characteristics of low-cost physical experiments, design idea and principles of teaching and learning activities are explored on low-cost experimental resources and the methods to use low-cost experimental resources for demonstration experiments, studying experiment, grouping experiments and extracurricular experiments are explored by case studies; Fifthly, the conclusions and suggestions of the research are summarized.The research suggests that low-cost physical experiment is necessary and feasible in physics teaching according to the characteristics of students in junior middle school, such as thinking, psychological and cognitive ability; It is helpful to create the teaching situation, stimulate students thinking activities, cultivate students’ practical ability and expand the space for physical experiment if low-cost physics teaching can be applied in Junior middle school physics experiment.
