In this era of cultivating innovative talents in an all-round way,the junior high school physics curriculum standard also puts forward new requirements for physics learning in the compulsory education stage,requiring to improve the scientific literacy of all students.Concentrate on the cultivation of students' interest in learning,experimental inquiry ability,scientific innovation awareness,and rigorous scientific attitude.As the backbone of physics learning,physics experiment is an important way to closely link course content with student life,modern society and technological development.And low-cost physics experiments can not only stimulate students' interest in physics learning,experience the exploration process of "from life to physics",but also make up for the lack of experimental equipment or environment resource,meet the differences of students at different levels,reduce the cost of physics experiment teaching,and can keep pace with traditional physics experiments and complement each other.Therefore,integrating and guiding students to conduct low-cost junior high school physics experiments with the items at their fingertips is of great research value in promoting teachers to implement physics experiment teaching.Through the investigation of our school's teachers' understanding and application of low-cost physics experiments,it is found that although there are more and more people focus on low-cost physics experiments in China,there are very few front-line teachers who can really use them in actual teaching practice.Most teachers did not really appreciate the practical significance of low-cost physics experiments,did not choose to apply low-cost physics experiments to their own teaching process,or did not have enough time to design and develop.Meanwhile,due to the limitations of development time and space,teachers still use demonstration methods to conduct low-cost physics experiments.This way can't fully mobilize the enthusiasm of students,because of the low participation.And it can't play the true role of low-cost physics experiments,either.Therefore,it is hoped that through the research of this subject,some suggestions will be provided for teachers to design and apply low-cost junior high school physics experiments in the teaching process in the future,so that the research results can be popularized.Based on the above reasons,the focus of this research is to integrate and improve the existing relatively classic low-cost junior high school physics experiments according to category.Relying on interest learning theory,humanistic theory,constructivism theory,"teaching and doing integrated" theory supported,the following research results are obtained through questionnaire surveys,teacher-student interviews,equipment statistics,educational practice,and evaluation improvements:First,conduct a comprehensive survey on the school's physics experiment teaching and equipment.It is understood that although the school has been increasing the purchase of experimental equipment in recent years,teachers are often confused by the shortage of experimental equipment or the damage caused by frequent use of experimental equipment when implementing experimental teaching and other problems.And after investigation,it is found that only a few teachers and students know about low-cost physics experiments,and most teachers and students are still very unfamiliar with the concept of low-cost physics experiments.Secondly,based on the situation of the school,the low-cost physics experiments that some researchers have summed up at this stage are integrated according to the three categories of existed original experiments in the improvement textbook,expanded textbook content,and exercise interpretation.Through implementing low-cost physics experiments in the teaching process,analyzing the application result of the experiment,adjusting the design ideas combining the latest development ideas and materials,and according to local characteristics and local conditions,some low-cost physics experiments are improved.Improve the experimental effect in reflection to achieve the purpose of experimental teaching.In practice,it fully reflects the students' dominant position in teaching and develops their overall quality.At the same time,exploring effective ways and strategies to promote and popularize low-cost junior high school physics experiment teaching,which can truly arouse students' enthusiasm for learning physics and effectively improve students' scientific and cultural quality.However,due to the lack of practice numbers and research time in this study,there is still a lack of universality.It is necessary to continue to put efforts on the intensity of practice and research depth in the future education work,and improve the research results.
