With the reform of education,physics teaching pays more attention to the process of education,adding more physical experiments in physics class and giving students more hands-on experiment opportunities.Physics is a subject based on experiments.It is an important way to arouse students' interest in physics study through experiments.On the one hand,the low-cost physical experiment means that the experimental material is a cheap thing from life resources,such as beverage bottle,table tennis ball,Straw,magnet,etc.On the other hand,it means that for students,the time cost of making and demonstrating such experiments is not high,and the effect of experiments is very obvious.This kind of experiment is very close to students' life and the novel experimental phenomena can attract students' curiosity,which is of great help to cultivate students' interest in physics.This study is mainly aimed at junior middle school students,who make full use of their spare time in class,after class and at home to complete the low-cost physics experiments and transform daily necessities into physical instruments.The specific research content includes the following parts:First,explain what is the low-cost physical experiment,the research status about low-cost physical experiment at home and abroad,and combined with the existing research as well as the research object of learning to the definition of the concept of low-cost physical experiment,what is the difference between“Interesting experiment” and “Unconventional physics experiment”,the theoretical basis of the practice teaching,should follow the principle of design of experiments and so on.Second,the case analysis of low-cost physics experiment.The low-cost physical experiments are divided into three categories: extra-curricular expansion of low-cost physical experiments,classroom demonstration of low-cost physical experiments and low-cost physical experiments of students.The specific design cases are listed to introduce students' learning situation,production methods and teaching process.Third,the analysis research of the teaching practice effect.A physics learning interest scale is designed,which is divided into four dimensions:intuition interest,operation interest,cause and effect interest and theory interest.Two parallel classes in grade three of junior middle school are selected as research objects,which are divided into experimental class and control class,through the form of questionnaire survey to two classes pre-test and post-test,to compare and analyze their changes in interest.The results show that low-cost physics experiments can improve students' interest in physics learning,especially in the level of intuitive interest and operation interest,and in the level of causal interest and theoretical interest.
