Content: In the 21 st century, the combination of education and industry is more closely, so it is very imminent to develop vocational and technical education. Since the quality of vocational and technical education is the inherent vitality of the development of vocational and technical education, and students’ achievement is an important measurement of educational quality, improving students’ academic career is very urgent. This study is to explore how’s the relationship between social support and self-efficacy to effect the students’ achievement.This research is designed based on the analysis of relevant literature. This research choose300 two-year pre-school education students from a vocational college by a systematic sampling method. Then let them take the questionnaire of Surveying Social Support Scale and Self-Efficacy Scale, collected their academic performance statistics and analyzed the data.Firstly, this paper analyzed the secondary vocational college students present characteristics of social support and self-efficacy, and found social support were significantly different in the grade and whether student leaders or not and self-efficacy were significantly different in the grade only.Secondly, this paper analyzed the relationship among the social support, self-efficacy and academic performance by using the correlation and regression analysis, and found out their is correlation among those, and the self-efficacy plays an intermediary role between social support and academic performance as a mediating variable.Thirdly, the paper discussed and analyzed the causes of secondary vocational college students’ social support and self-efficacy. Finally, corresponding teaching suggestions are put forward to improve the pre-school education students’ achievement.
