When people put forward the aim of emotion, attitude and values, it becomes a bright way for the reform of education in the new age. It is also up to the mustard of times development for comprehensive talent. Although the domestic and foreign research on emotional education has obtained some achievements, there are still many deficiencies in practical level.The paper combs the results of emotional education research both at home and aboard, then points out the necessity of emotional education of history subject. At the cognition level, it probes into the content of emotional teaching of history subject, including how to deal with the relationship between the individual himself, nature, society and the world. At the practice level, emotional teaching puts forward higher requirements to teacher’s professional accomplishment, personality and emotion accumulation. What’s more, a friendly relationship between teachers and students is also important. At last, emotional teaching needs the support from schools.I write this paper combing with my experience of history teaching. It points out that if teachers want to do emotional teaching, they must guide the students to set up correct view of history firstly. Then teachers should make clear emotional teaching goals. There are some ways to realize the goals, such as situational teaching and cooperative inquiry. Combing with the present situation of emotional teaching, I find out some problems we need to notice, and give some improvement projects.Emotional teaching evaluation is an issue of crucial importance. It is related to the long-term and effective implementation of emotional education. The paper advocates building a developing evaluation system and strengthening qualitative evaluation. We can use multi-subject and diversified methods to do the evaluation. At last, the results of the evaluation should be treated with caution.Finally I offer some suggestions for emotional education of history subject. I hope my paper can promote the reform of history curriculum with a mode way as a dedication.
