Student-centered principle is the core value of the history curricula reformation, as well as the starting point and terminal point. For the national rejuvenation of china and for the development of each child, the basic value tendency of the history curricula reformation indicates the transformation of the value of the Chinese elementary education. "The Standard of History Course in General High school", lately promulgated by Ministry of Education clearly rose the three-dimensional teaching aim of history course: knowledge and ability, process and methods; emotion, attitude and values. The goal especially emphasizes forming active study attitude, acquiring pleasant emotion, possessing colorful life-experience and shaping right values while students studying basic knowledge and skills. It shows that the essential function of history education in the history curricula reformation is oriented toward cultivating students to construct correct emotion, attitude and values. However, in the elementary educational background which emphasizes exams too much, history teachers usually replacing the teaching aim in emotional attitude and values' field with cognition objectives even though most teachers have already reached common understanding on the importance of history teaching objectives in emotional, attitude and values' field . They still remain the aim at the theory level and have many misunderstandings on it. So history classes are twisted to be classes of patriotism and spirits of nationhood. Therefore, it becomes a task before each history teacher: to reach emotional aim in teaching history contents organically, permeate emotional education during teaching process consciously and at last reach the teaching aim in the field of emotion, attitude and values. The thesis of this treatise is to realize the essential function of history education, trying to practice the teaching aim in the field of emotion, attitude and values in implemental level.
