A Study On The Current Situation And Countermeasures Of Career Planning For Secondary Vocational School Students

Career planning has become a hot topic of widespread concern in today's society.The career planning of college students and higher vocational students are brought into focus.However,the career planning of secondary vocational students is less concerned.In fact,compared with college students and vocational college students,career planning of secondary vocational school students is more important.Therefore,it is necessary to understand the status of vocational career planning of secondary vocational students,to grasp its particularity and to explore solution strategy.It should be an indispensable and important topic for the career planning of secondary vocational students.The paper mainly used the methods of consulting literature,questionnaires,and interviews.Taking the GM secondary vocational school as a case study,this paper makes a series of research on the current situation,causes and implementation strategies of vocational career planning of secondary vocational students.From the three aspects of students,parents and teachers,the questionnaire focuses on the professional planning consciousness,professional choice,employment mentality and career planning education mode of vocational career planning.Based on the questionnaire survey and interview,the present situation and causes of vocational career planning for secondary vocational students are investigated objectively.The school should put forward countermeasures at this point.According to the results of the survey,we found that the secondary vocational students who have just entered the school pay little attention to career planning.They are lack of awareness and interest in learning and they have fantasy ideas about the employment.We also found that,with age increasing,secondary vocational school students' attention to career planning is on the rise.The current situation of career planning for secondary vocational school students is discussed,and its causes are discussed.We can explain from individual,school,family and society aspects.Among them,students' personal reasons are mainly due to their younger age,poorer learning foundation and their dependence on schools and their parents.The main school factors are: lack of attention to the curriculum,lack of advanced theoretical support,lack of the teachers' constructions,lack of professional teachers,heavy employment,light system training and other reasons.The reasons for students' family can be attributed to their parents' professional beliefs and their serious dependence on school education.The main reasons for the society are: the country's laws and regulations are not perfect,the investment and the propaganda are not enough,the social negative atmosphere have bad influences.Taking the school as the breakthrough point to integrate individual reasons,school reasons,family reasons and social reasons,we try to put forward the countermeasures and suggestions of vocational career planning for secondary vocational students.The first is to fully value the role of the school's education system in career planning.These include the introduction of new theoretical systems,evaluation systems,and the establishment of first-class faculty,the use of celebrities,teachers,the use of good education in the first session of the artisan spirit of education and the extensive influence of the World Skills Competition and a series of tools and methods.All these can help students develop career planning education.The second is to seek the cooperation of parents.It mainly includes the popularization of the basic knowledge of career planning for parents when they send their children to school.Besides,make full use of the communication channels of the parents' committee,clarify the role of the parent committee and change the concept of parental career.The third is to build a social support system.It can further strengthen the sense of career planning of secondary vocational school students by the support of public opinion and the new school-enterprise cooperation method.
