Experiments are main parts of high school physics teaching, and also they are the important way to enhance the students’ scientific literacy. Physics experiments play a very critical part in helping them understand the physical knowledge, stimulate their interest in learning physics, develop the students’ scientific literacy and cultivate their ability to explore in education and teaching. Is the experimental function of education and teaching developed and do some problems exist in the function of it in the present physics teaching of high school? Therefore, the author has investigated the implementation of the experiment teaching on high school physics in compulsory module.This study is based on multiple intelligence theory, constructivism learning theory, humanistic learning theory and learning motivation theory. Combined with the design questionnaire of the Ordinary High School Physics New Curriculum Standard(Experimental), the research has investigated the implementation of the experimental teaching in a certain high school of Qin’an County, Tianshui City from different dimensions on high school physics in compulsory module in the form of questionnaire. By using Excel software, the survey data will be counted and theoretically analyzed, and finally the investigation conclusion has been drawn: part of physics teachers are short of the proper understanding for physics experiments; the school laboratories aren’t often open to the students, which doesn’t satisfy their needs for experiment exploration after class; the school lacks experimental equipment and some of them are outdated, which cannot adapt to all the experiments; the number of grouping the students is reasonable while the way to divide experimental groups is unreasonable; the rate of carrying out various types of experiments is low; most students can seriously finish the experiment content, but some students hardly participate in the experiments; teachers are involved in too much in the experiment teaching, which doesn’t do good to cultivating the students’ independent experiment ability; some teachers use multimedia presentation to replace the real experimental operation.Based on the problems in physics experiment implementation found in the survey and combined with the theoretical basis, the corresponding teaching suggestions are put forward: teachers should strengthen the study of physics experiment teaching and have a correct understanding of the status and importance of physics experiments; schools should often open the laboratories; teachers should pay attention to the ways to divide the experimental groups; teachers should change their ideas, overcome different difficulties and increase the rate to make the experiments; teachers should attach great importance to the cultivation of the students’ experimental ability and make the students participate in the experiments actively; in the experiment teaching, the intervention for the students should be reduced by teachers in the experimental teaching and highlight the dominant position of the students; teachers should reasonably make use of the multimedia aid experiment teaching.
