The new senior middle school physics curriculum reform aims tofurther improve the scientific literacy of students, from the knowledge andskill, process and method, emotion attitude and values of students in threeaspects, for the lifelong development of students, can cope with modernsociety and future challenges. And the spirit of science inquiry in spirit, thespirit of innovation, the spirit of independence in the physical experimentteaching can be fully training and training.In this paper, Dewey’s pragmatism teaching theory, constructivismtheory as the theoretical basis, summarizes characteristics, physics newcurriculum experimental physics experiment teaching function. On the basisof the current situation of physical experiment teaching in senior high schoolin Bayannaoer City, the new curriculum investigation, find out the existingproblems, cause analysis. And proposed the improvement strategy of highschool physics experiment teaching in the new curriculum in Bayannaoer city.Through the literature analysis, questionnaire investigation, interview,field investigation, after two years, conducted in-depth investigations andstudies on the five aspects of the high school physics experiment teaching.These aspects include: experimental teaching conditions (including laboratoryand testing equipment), technicians, teachers and students the awareness ofthe experiment, demonstration experiment and the group experimentdevelopment present situation, especially the inquiry experiment carried out.The full text is divided into four parts: the first part is the introduction,to determine the significance and research status at home and abroad. Thesecond part features and functions for the new course of physics experiment.Respectively from the perspective of teaching function characteristics andphysical experimental theoretical basis, experimental teaching of physics inthe new curriculum experiment are discussed in this paper. And on these issuesand provides some improvement strategies, such as: changing the concept ofleadership, strengthen the laboratory construction; to strengthen training andsupervision, improve the overall quality of the librarians and teachers ofphysics; strengthening of inquiry experiment, improve students’ scientificliteracy; give teachers practice demonstration; the college entranceexamination system reform. Hope for the vast number of teachers, schools andeducation departments to provide some reference for further development andresearch, so as to promote the Bayannaoer city high school physicsexperiment teaching reform.This shows that in the environment of the new high school curriculumto a new round of the curriculum reform of high school physics experimentteaching, many problems still exist, there is a great reform of space, also needto study and Practice on teaching reform of success.
