In Industry-University-Research Cooperation, universities have been extending from talent cultivation, scientific research to social services, therefore no doubt becoming an important part of national innovation system, also making the Industry-University-Research Cooperation a strong driving force to economic and social development today. University knowledge flow is a necessary process of the Industry-University-Research Cooperation; knowledge is playing an increasingly important role in the organization; the effectiveness and efficiency of knowledge flow directly affect the organization’s core competitiveness; so, it is very important to study on university knowledge flow model construction and optimization in Industry-University-Research Cooperation.Firstly, this paper focuses on system analysis of university Knowledge flow in Industry-University-Research Cooperation from the initial stage, the implementation stage, adjustment stage and integration stage; defines the internal and external factors affecting university knowledge flow in the Industry-University-Research Cooperation; organizes the causal loop diagram and analyzes the main feedback loop inside the causal loop diagram.Secondly, this paper establishes a system dynamics model of university knowledge flow in the Industry-University-Research Cooperation and proposes the basic assumptions of the model; based on data computability and the reality, this paper simplifies the causal loop diagram of the model, and draws the system flow diagram to reflect the structure and features of the system; this paper also explains the main equation and uses Vensim PLE to examine the validity of the model; simulation results show that the model could fit well the actual knowledge transfer process in the Industry-University-Research cooperation.Finally, this paper simulates the system by adjusting three main parameters of knowledge transfer wishes, knowledge transfer threshold and government, financial institutions invested funds, finding that these three main parameters are with high sensitivity. Therefore this paper suggests increasing the above three parameters to improve efficiency of university knowledge flow in the Industry-University-Research Cooperation.
