At present, ordinary university and college sports teaching pays too much attention on the reform of teaching contents and teaching methods, insufficient recognition of physical exercise for university and college students, university and college students’ physical health test result is not ideal. The date from the ministry of education “national students’ physical health monitoring network” shows that the indexes of university and college students’ physical quality continue a downward trend, especially the endurance and power quality(explosion) Power quality is the foundemental physical qualities of the human body, to comprehensively improve the level of students’ physical, improving the power quality should be a must. How to apply the philosophy and methods of competitive core strength training into ordinary university students’ physical exercise,establish a systematic and suitable physical exercise optimization of the core strength training for college students needs to be further researched. The results of the study are as follows:1. The Delphi method is used to filter out 17 kinds of core strength training method,with the factor analysis to ultimately determine the 14 kinds of core strength training means, and classified different exercise part as four types, namely the waist muscles, abdominal muscles, body lateral muscles and the shoulder and upper limb muscle group,which is easy for students’ physical exercise, helpful to fully and effectively develop core muscle strength.2. Base on some sports training theories,, together with the present situation of students’ physical and mental characteristics,to optimize the 14 kinds of core strength training means,to make a 8 weeks’ core strength exercise optimization scheme, and randomly selected 20 students for experiment.3. The experimental group and the control group showed differences in seven indicators, chest circumference, upper arm circumference, vital capacity, sit ups, back throwing solid ball and standing long jumps have significant difference, push ups has a very significant difference. Which indicate the effect of the exercise of the core strength exercise program for college students is better than that of the conventional force.4. Group contrast, the experimental group ncreased significantly in seven test scores, circumference, vital capacity, back throwing solid ball and standing long jump four score have a significant difference; upper arm circumference, push ups and sit ups three grades have very significant difference. While the control group,only two scores increased significantly, respectively the upper arm 3% and sit ups 22%, but the growth rate of experimental group was greater than control group significantly(upper arm circumference8% and sit up 44%). regular strength training can improve upper arm circumference and crunches scores, but the improvement effect is not as good as core strength exercise.5. College students physical exercise implementing core strength practice optimization scheme can significantly improve the vital capacity, sit up and standing long jump scores. and the three index are also the university students’ physical health measured project. It can be seen that the core strength exercise program is feasible and can improve the students’ physical health test results.6. In College Physical Education and after-school physical training, the Swiss Ball Exercise are not high conditions on the ground, and the price of equipment is low, students practice actively, feasibility is strong. At the same time, the construction of core strength training network resources platform for students to study independently, and master the system of physical exercise theory and methods.This study aims to introduce the idea of core strength training in sports teaching for Colleges and universities, establish a scientific practice optimization scheme for college students’ physical exercise, set up core strength practice system for college students’ physical,enriching sports teaching content, expande College students’ physical training methods and means, and effectively improve the effect of physical exercise for colleges students, provide theoretical and practical basis for carrying out sports teaching reform, provide long-term theoretical guidance for the effectively implementation of “national student physical health standard”.
