Along with the quality education step by step, proposed the practice, the training innovation creation talented person’s voice is getting higher and higher. Pupil is the basic stage of development of human life, basic education on Pupils’ ability training and future development of the enormous role. Therefore, to strengthen the primary stage of the training of practical ability becomes particularly important the. The primary school art teaching not only undertakes the duty to the student fine arts, but also plays an important role in the cultivation of the ability of the students.. It can be said that the primary school art teaching because of its subject characteristics is an important area of the students’ ability to develop students’ ability. Based on the awareness of the cultivation of practical ability, this paper closely pays attention to the cultivation of the skills of primary school art teaching, and studies the theory and practice..The introduction part presents the origin of the problem, research background, research status and purpose, then it is to emphasize the importance of the teaching of practical ability training of students of and based on the investigation of current situation analysis, using questionnaires and interviews emphatically from four aspects: teaching environment, teaching consciousness, curriculum implementation and teaching status of the problem analysis, find out practical ability training in teaching deficiencies, and puts forward the corresponding measures and strategies. Finally, according to the elementary school fine arts teaching to teaching in the specific implementation process and give full play to students’ practical ability, this paper makes a specific teaching design.
