If one wants to gain a foothold in the society, to adapt to society, attain his goals, he should possess of abilities such as communication, Inquiry, cooperation and learning.“life-long education" and "life-long learning" has become the key to success in the 21 st century. The root of the realization of the “life-long learning” is to cultivate individual’s Self-Regulated learning ability. To achieve the “life-long learning” is just a day-dream if people without ability of Self-Regulated learning.At present, the research on the Chinese Self-Regulated learning are mostly concentrated in large and medium-sized inland city, rural area, but lack of research in frontier minority areas of Chinese learning, especially the research on Tibet area. The thorough investigation and study for senior high school students Chinese Self-Regulated learning in Lhasa, on the basis of current situation and problems, put forward the feasible suggestion. These suggestions, not only can provide methods for teachers to cultivate and improve the students’ autonomous learning ability; at the same time, hoping to deepen the reform of teaching mode for the Education Department of Tibet autonomous region, and provide a theoretical reference for improving students’ academic achievement; finally, the students’ autonomous learning ability, can promote students’ lifelong sustainable development. Give full play to the human resources, is of great significance to the Tibet autonomous region and the country’s future developmentThis study is based on the theories about autonomous learning, such as operant theory, Theory of Self-Instruction verbal self guidance theory, humanism theory, and Cognitive Constructive Theory. This research object is the students and teachers in Lhasa high school, Jiangsu experimental middle school of Lhasa, foreign language school in Lhasa. This study refers to the range of Chinese language. The 1 main refer to the questionnaire of Sichuan Normal University professor Liu Xian-qiang used this study to guide the preparation of the "Questionnaire" Chinese learning situation of high school students; the questionnaire 2 cited by Beijing Normal University doctoral student Shan Zhi- yan in the compilation of the "high school students’ Autonomous Learning Questionnaire"(the guidance of Professor Meng Qing-mao). The two questionnaires were answered by 477 high school students in Lhasa at the same time, and later on the high school Chinese teachers in Lhasa were interviewed,to understand Lhasa high school students Chinese study current situation and problems of Self-Regulated learning.This research is mainly divided into 5 parts:The first chapter is the introduction. The second chapter is the literature review. The third one is about current situation investigation and analysis of Lhasa high school students Chinese Self-Regulated learning ability; The fourth chapter is the countermeasures of cultivate and improve Lhasa high school students Chinese Self-Regulated learning ability; The last one is a conclusion.Through the survey we can found:(1) Lhasa high school students is very interested in Chinese learning, but the interest does not mean that they will try their best to learn.(2) There is no significant difference in gender of Lhasa high school students in Self-Regulated learning.(3) Lhasa high school students’ Self-Regulated learning average lower than Jiangsu experimental middle school of Lhasa, foreign language school in Lhasa.(4) Tibetan students of Lhasa high school students In every dimension of Self-Regulated their learning average significantly or extremely higher than that of Han students.(5) There is no difference on grade of Lhasa high school students in Chinese Self-Regulated learning.
