Primary school English teaching,as an enlightenment stage of learning English, has been focused on by the teachers and parents. English homework as the consolidation and continuation of English teaching is an important part of the whole teaching process. It can make students consolidate what they have learned in the class, which is also an important way for teachers for the classroom effect feedback. However, the usually homework is listen to the tape and read the text, copy words and sentences, and repeat the text, it is not important that such as t practical application, innovative and interesting job. More over, the homework is lack of consideration of the differences between students, for example, the differences in personality, interests, differences and the differences of ability. This will not be able to make the English homework play its best effect.This study not only satisfied with the introduction of difference teaching theory and reveals the current primary school English teachers’ homework assignments and the existing problems, and based on the difference teaching theory to design differentiation grade English homework, to make full use of difference teaching theory, guiding the design of the primary school English homework, in order to achieve better teaching effect and cultivate the students’ active learning interest.This research mainly through questionnaires and individual interview between teachers and students, selected 90 primary school English teachers and 240 students in grade three to five as sample, analysis from arrangement, correcting and attitude towards English homework. Through the study the author found a series of questions: The content of the primary English homework form lack of diversity; Teachers’ job design and evaluation method of the single; Teacher corrects for homework arrangement and failed to take care of students’ individual difference. Based on the investigation of the English homework to see some problems of difference teaching in primary English.Providing practical and feasible suggestions in homework assignments and correcting for English teachers, and make full use of differential homework’s humanistic care to encourage students’ progress, relieves the differentiation of English learning problems.This paper will be divided into five parts: the first part is introduction. To expound the problems put forward, the research significance, review and research methods, and the relevant concepts are defined. The second part expounds the necessity of difference teaching idea based design correcting primary English homework. The third part reveals the present situation and problems of primary English homework. The fourth part analyses the reason of why differentiation elementary English homework is difficult to imply. The fifth part: mainly puts forward the effective implementation of the strategy of differentiation elementary English homework.
