The counselors professional pride and identity is still not strong, the counselors career professional cannot achieved people’s acceptable value.It is known that the college counselors have the double identity of teachers and cadres, they also undertake the college students’ daily education and management and a series of works, As the popularization of education,the higher education reform and development,that put forward new request and task to the university counselors construction.How to strengthen the construction of counselors professional has become an urgent task faced by the current universities.The university counselors,as an important part of the university teachers team,made an important contribution to cultivation of talents in universities and the development of socialist education.Practice has proved that the system of university counselors conforms to present development situation in our country,and also is the scientific management regime with Chinese characteristics.As the university education system,welfare system, talent cultivation patterns occur profound changes,we must establish a professional,high quality and stable mind counselor team in order to strengthen and improve ideological and political education of university students.The paper have three parts,firstly,explores the meaning of the professional, the counselors specialization is a process of sustainable development.Both the group of counselor specialization and counselors individual professional promote and complement each other, all of them consists of the connotation of the counselors specialization.In this part,the paper also put forward four professional standards of counselors specialization, namely, professional ethics, professional intelligence, professional training and professional organizations. Thirdly, the paper novelty put forward the ways of the counselors specialization construction,that includes to strengthen the construction of professional ethics, enhance professional intelligence, strengthen professional training and the construction of the counselors professional organizations.,in order to encourage college counselors professional development gradually changed, from abstract to concrete, ideal to reality.
