The Study On Population Forecast Method In Master Planning Of Small Mining Towns

Population is the key to the sustainable development of towns, and moderate population scale is a strong guarantee for the urban economy, society, resources and coordinated development of environment.Urban population forecast is the primary work of urban planning. It is the objective of urban planning, also is the premise and basis of land use planning layout. An accurate and reasonable forecast of urban population size will have important guiding significance for the future of urban scale, the economic, social, infrastructure and the sustainable development of ecological environment. As well urban population forecast is also a very important urban public policy requirements. Choosing the appropriate urban population forecast method is the most basic means and basis to more accurately predict the urban population. Therefore, the urban population forecast in urban overall planning has always been the focus study in the subject or field of geography, city planning, economics, demography and sociology etc, also causing the attention of experts in all trades and professions.Based on the related theory and research method on existing population prediction of the urban overall planning, by learning to understand and to conduct a comprehensive analysis and evaluation, this study put forward models of population prediction method suitable for the mining towns on the basis of the predecessors’ population prediction research. This paper established a systematic, practical, high credibility of the mining towns population prediction method by analyzing the influence factors of mining industry of small cities and towns population development, to set up the index system of population prediction, the empirical study, and using multiple social analysis method. Some results of the research methods have certain innovation and the readability; This paper predicts the population scale of the peixian county longgu town by using SPSS with empirical research method, in order to have certain reference significance on method to the same type mining small towns population scale forecast.Through the study of mining towns population prediction method, this paper hope to cause people attention to the construction of small towns in urban population, economic, social, infrastructure and environment in mining overall urban planning, and provide certain technology and theory support for the sustainable development of small towns in the mining.
