The Analysis Of "Sandwich" Training Mode In Higher Vocational Colleges

With the development of social economy and science and technology, talent cultivation mode is also in constant change and improvement. In recent years, the technical and practical talents appeal frequently in the job market. And the direction of education in our country is gradually focus on the development of professional education. Work-integrated learning, applied talents have turned out to be some familiar words. Major in hotel management in higher vocational colleges are tend to set its fundamental goal as cultivating mid-level management talents with service concept and strong practical abilities. Most students after graduation, however, is not willing to become "the hotel waiter". Problems such as unclear orientation of professional itself and having grandiose aims but puny abilities do exist among those students. The British sandwich model is a mature mode which has developed for more than one hundred years. It has been tested and received high praise. Thus the sandwich mode should be introduced to hotel management specialty in higher vocational colleges in our country. It will not only strengthen the students’ practical ability, but also solve the employment problem of the hotel. After decades of researching on sandwich talent cultivating mode in educational circle, colleges which put sandwich personnel training mode into practice has increased year by year.but the specific implementation, the implementation of the status quo, effect and problems and how to improve the analysis of the literature is still few.To this, on the basis of consulting a large number of theory of literature, and professional field investigation in Guangzhou foreign-related vocational and technical college, I gained a large amount of text data and reference data, such as three years of the curriculum in the sandwich mode of the school, school for its graduates employment satisfaction survey data, etc. Meanwhile we interviewed many students through the questionnaire survey form and interview investigation. It helped us analyze sandwich model concrete implementation way of implementing effect, present situation and other problems. In the subsequent, I put forward my own suggestions and countermeasures to its existing problems.The paper is divided into five parts: 1.Introduction, it includes the selected topic significance, purpose, research status at home and abroad, research methods, etc.; 2. Definition on the sandwich talent mode and other related concepts and the theory basis of the selected topic; 3. Introduction about the concrete process and way that the foreign vocational technology college of Guangzhou hotel management put sandwich mode into practice; 4. Analysis on the existent problems of the sandwich mode in Guangzhou foreign vocational and technical college; 5. Put forward some suggestions and countermeasures on the problem.Along with constant trying and exploring of the pattern of sandwich, we can start a variety of solid exercise and strong disciplines, continuous improvement and summary should be kept on so as to grope for sandwich mode of China. The paper is based on three years of foreign wine tube professional concrete analysis, from the implementation of specific pattern, the hotel recognition and student’s direct experience as the breakthrough point, in the expect of concreting implementation way for sandwich mode, effect and problems to provide more substantial resources.
