At present, the size of China’s rural boarding school is gradually expanding, which has become the main bearer of rural compulsory education. Rural boarding schools not only entrusted with the functions of school education, but also shoulder functions of family and social education. In order to protect the quality of life of students, improve students’ living environment, then guarantee the normal operation of rural boarding schools, therefore selecting a caretaker is a practical alternative for rural boarding schools. Works of caretakers are directly related to the quality of life of students in boarding schools, thus affecting the realization of the functions of school education. Consequently, management issues of caretakers from rural boarding schools need to get scholastic and social attention. This study come into being through questionnaires, field research, collecting, sorting relevant information of management of rural boarding school’s caretakers and analysis. It Reveals management problems to caretakers in rural boarding schools and analyzes reasons of these problems from the government,school and teachers,putting forward targeted suggestions finally, so as to provide reference to management of caretakers in rural boarding schools.This thesis is divided into four parts.The first part of the introduction. The part based on why study around this problem, what is the significance, research status, research ideas and methods, theoretical foundation, and several other aspects of management issues to rural boarding schools’ s caretakers and carry out macro analysis and systematic combing, hence lay the foundation for future study.The second part is about questionnaires and interviews to 25 rural boarding schools from Fengjie Country, starting from the allocation, appointment,salary,evaluation,training of real life teachers to understand management situation of rural boarding school’s caretakers in Fengjie County.The third part grounded on questionnaires and interviews and field surveys displays management issues of Fengjie County rural boarding schools’ caretakers : misallocation of caretakers, relatively free to hire teachers, great labor intensity, low wages, unreasonable assessment mechanism, inadequate training. Meanwhile, this study analyses reasons of management problems from the government, schools, teachers..The fourth part puts forward specific suggestions: establishing and improving policies and regulations of caretakers from rural boarding schools, increasing investment in rural boarding schools, improving management system of rural boarding schools’ caretakers, making humanistic care and management to caretakers.There is an objective analysis of the survival and management status of caretakers of rural boarding schools in the paper. It has certain practical significance to solve management problems of the caretakers and provides methodological guidance to improve the management of caretakers in rural boarding schools. Meanwhile, it’s in favor of enriching the management theory of the caretakers in rural boarding schools, exploring management model rural for caretakers in rural boarding schools. What’s more, it also provides a reference for boarding schools in rural areas.
