This paper mainly studies the application of the Pyramid principle in the secondary vocational school to carry out the application of teaching reform. In view of the principle of imported from abroad, translation difficult mouthful, it is difficult to read, write 《writing campaign speeches by the principle of the pyramid》course design and learning materials "working pages", lead students to practice, using popular language and simple case, this paper expounds the method of building the Pyramid principle, enable students to build Pyramid through learning, do clear ideas, express focus, can be flexibly applied to the actual learning life, used in the practical writing; take the common ten kinds of practical writing as an example: for instructions, reports, reporting, notification, cover letter, plan, summary, investigation report, marketing planning document, career planning constructing Pyramid structure model, solve the confusion of the secondary vocational students in the writing of the content structure of the application, so that students can be used in the application of text writing to achieve clear thinking, fast writing, the article is clear, detailed content. And according to the student’s case, using the Pyramid principle and the specific requirements of each type of writing language evaluation and analysis.First, through the questionnaire survey, the typical secondary vocational schools in Yantai are analyzed-- Yantai Industry and Trade Technician College, Problems of students, teachers and teaching materials in the application of writing in the secondary vocational school.Most of the students are junior high school or high school graduation, poor language foundation,in order to make the students master knowledge, better adapt to the workplace life,schools in general in the second semester of the students to open the "secondary vocational application of writing" this course, in the process of writing, in addition to the fixed format of the application, most students are faced with the problem how to write the text of the application is clear, distinct, logical; in the application of language teachers writing teaching is mostly solid, a multitasker no more energy to do in-depth research on the teaching of practical writing; textbooks are the same, too old and dry, the case with students cited the real life far, stimulate students’ learning enthusiasm. This paper proposed a reasonable solution to the problem on the basis of in-depth analysis.Second, the advantages of Pyramid’s principle in the application of writing in the secondary vocational school are analyzed. In line with the level of human brain, structure is clear, easy to learn. The Pyramid principle to provide effective help for the application of the secondary vocational students in the teaching of writing. Through course design and learning materials "working pages" training students to master the knowledge of the Pyramid principles, using the Pyramid principles writing practical writing.Next, this paper discusses the process of the teachers in the teaching of "writing in the secondary vocational school", should be combined with the age characteristics, vocational students learning characteristics, professional characteristics, teach students in accordance with their aptitude. Lead the students to a comprehensive and systematic study of the application of each type of related theory at the same time, let the students construct the structure model of Pyramid,this will enable students to learn the language structure to stick out a mile, quickly written, write a strict structure, clear logic of practical writing, achieve a multiplier effect,Pyramid in the practical writing teaching process model plays a role to concentrate on the main points.Again, for instructions for example use action oriented teaching method, case teaching method, group teaching method and so on the teaching method of the classroom teaching record.In the process of teaching teachers lead students to learn related theory for instructions, on this basis, let the students construct the Pyramid structural model of the instruction, finally with the help of a model writing for instructions.This not only strengthens the student’s theory study, and it can make the students use the content of the study to the actual writing,theory with practice, and the overall structure of the practice and easy to memory. Students in the classroom, the main body status is fully reflected,fully mobilize the enthusiasm of learning, the effect was obvious in the classroom.Finally, the application evaluation of the application of the text of the application in the teaching of practical writing in vocational school is carried out in Pyramid, and put forward the improvement measures in the future.
