Chinese language literacy pays great attention to cultivate the students’ language ability, language knowledge and use, learning methods, humanity and other aspects, which fully demonstrates the organic unity of humanity and instrumental features of Chinese language. Chinese language course is the fundamental course in Secondary vocational school, which plays a constructive role in improving students’ scientific and cultural, ideological and political qualities comprehensively, and learning other courses well, forming their professional ability and their ability of furthering study through a series of teaching activities which will consolidate and expand the students’ Chinese basic knowledge, improve the comprehensive quality of the language, form a good habit of Chinese language, further enhance the comprehensive vocational ability to lay down a solid foundation for adapting to the future career changes. Thus, Chinese teaching in secondary vocational school is very important.Through questionnaire for Shouguang Vocational Education Central School and Weifang Technical Secondary Vocational School, main difficulties in Chinese teaching in secondary vocational school are: learning motivation is not strong, learning interest is not high; curriculum resources construction lags behind; poor reading situation by students and, there are defects in Chinese teaching design. Through the actual investigation and comprehensive analysis, the research shows reasons are the following: one-sided understanding of Chinese education function; the weak foundation of Chinese by secondary school students and their non-intellectual factors; teachers in secondary vocational school are not so qualified and textbooks contents and their arrangement is not reasonable too. Therefore, to improve the efficiency of Chinese teaching in secondary vocational school, it not only needs to establish a correct secondary vocational school Chinese teaching philosophy, to stimulate students interest in learning and improve the quality of Chinese teachers, but also to improve the vocational language teaching methods, enhance teaching material construction of Chinese teaching in secondary vocational school and carry out the hierarchical teaching in accordance with students individual aptitude. Finally, it shall create a diversified evaluation method of Chinese teaching in secondary vocational school; fully enhance the effectiveness of Chinese teaching in secondary vocational school to create a new situation of Chinese teaching in secondary vocational school.
