Aerobics is a standing teaching content in the present common higher schools’ public physical education teaching, which is a comprehensive sport event that covers the fields of physical education, art, culture, education and so on. Aerobics can greatly benefit the body, heart and soul and plays a positive role in the construction of college campus culture, which has been become an important content of the sports culture activities. Under the historical background of the highly developed social productivity and the civilization brought by the fast living pace, the practice of aerobics become popular among the common people, which can greatly protect the people’s health. With the increasing improvement of the living standard, the people gradually have more and more leisure time and have a strong desire for strengthening the body. In the beginning, people do aerobics with the purpose of keeping health. In the long course of practicing, the people who do aerobics add many new actions to it, such as the actions of gymnastics, artistic gymnastics and disco, in the meanwhile, the strength and the sports load are increased. The people begin to do aerobic and control the actions and the feelings in accord with the rhythm and melody of the music. Under the clear guidance of the related scientific theories, aerobics has been gradually become into a kind of new sports event that integrates gymnastic, dance and music. Due to its features of art, entertainment, popularity and creativity, aerobics has been become a popular kind of culture and art action. Aerobics has been accepted and loved by most of the college students because aerobics could comprehensively promote the development of the body and soul. For its unique characteristics, aerobics is very popular among many college students, especially female students. The students who do aerobics will merge themselves into the happy rhythm; all the joints and links of the body will be exercised. As an effective method to achieve the teaching aim of the higher education, for its unique charm, aerobics appeals an increasing number of female college students and holds a vital position in the college physical education. Many scientific studies have shown that aerobics has a strong function to strengthen the body and soul. However, the declining body quality of students of the higher schools in recent years has become a critical problem for the physical educators. Body quality is one of the basic parts in maintaining the body movements and has a direct influence on the performance of the body movements and the sports level. Through some certain body quality exercises, the people could lay a sound foundation for the sports ability. The aerobics teaching classes are easily affected by several factors such as time, therefore, in real teaching activities, teachers and students may not pay enough attention to the body quality exercise or merely ignore it, the sports skills and abilities of some students could be affected. From the survey of the sports ability elements, we could know that proper and correct body quality exercising methods and training contents have positive influence on the formation of good sports skills. Therefore, it has become an optional subject to study how to improve the level of the body quality of the college students and promote the effects of aerobics teaching.This paper made a study through methods of literature material law, experimentation, and mathematical statistics. The female students of two optional aerobics classes of the grade of 2013 of the Agricultural University of Hebei were divided into an experimental class and a control class, each with 30 students. During the 14 weeks teaching experiment, the teaching task of each aerobics class of the experimental group was added parts of physical quality exercise, while the control group was given normal aerobics movement teaching and revision and exercise of related skills.Through the study of the experiment, it can be concludes as following:1. After the experiment, the grade of aerobics of the experimental group was apparently better than that of the control group(T=2.21, P<0.05).2. In regard of the five indications’ performance of the physical quality, the performances of sit-up, sit and reach, 50 m of the experimental group were much better than those of the control group(T仰=2.39,P<0.05;T坐=2.22,P<0.05;T50=-2.55,P<0.05), the grades of standing long jump and 800 m were also increased, but not significant.3. According to the result comparison before and after the experiment, it was found that the five physical qualities of the experimental group and control group were both increased, but the experiential group had a much higher increased level.Conclusion:1. The physical quality exercise can efficiently increase the grade of aerobics by means of improving the aerobics movement coordinate ability and movement rhythm.2. It will increase the grade of sit-up, sit and reach, 50 m, standing long jump and 800 m to add the physical quality exercise to the aerobics teaching.3. The grade of the 800 m plays an important role in the improvement of the grade of aerobics.
